You daily intake of foods should be:
Breakfast: being the first meal of the day should never be skipped. Many people think avoiding breakfast results in loosing weight, which is a myth and in some cases the body could react having the contrary reaction.
Try to eat a fruit – could be natural juice -, cereals and dairy products.
Lunch: Vegetables or a salad and fruits as dessert; some dairy product like adding cheese on the salad; a source of protein like meat, fish, chicken, eggs, peanut butter, beans or any other; last but not least, water or make a natural juice.
Supper: starches, protein and vegetables. This one is pretty similar to lunch, yet the amount must be smaller and ideally you should have it three or four hours before sleeping. Your body must process it as much as possible for you to sleep well.
Totally avoid eating throughout the night unless you stay up – which you should not -, else, your sleep will not be optimal and these will lead to a bad day. You may feel tired, distracted, irritated or even have headaches. These last symptoms might not happen if you do not usually do this, nevertheless you should avoid it; and if you do wake up late during the night and go eat something and have these symptoms, then stop it, they are typical of sleep deprivation.
A couple more thing to consider are:
Water
The most important element in your body. You must have at least two litres daily.
Spices
The wide range of different spices is very well known, but not so much their health benefits. Spices like garlic, ginger or even parsley hold tremendous benefits for your body and you should know about them.
