3 spices you avoid, yet you shouldn't

3 spices you avoid, yet you shouldn't

These three spices are probably the top three most beneficial spices referring to health and - at the same time - the top three most hated spices.
Perhaps it is their smell, maybe their taste or , possibly, their piquancy  Some say it is the pungent smell left hours after been eaten... Whichever may be the reason; garlic, onion and ginger are very much loved by many and abhorred with the most despicable hate by others. One thing, nevertheless, remains undisputed, and it is their health benefits. They are said to cure – or at least – fight different types of cancer; to have antibacterial, anti-mycotic and antiviral properties; to enhance the immune system; to actually help recover from colds; to achieve a proper body state and many others.
The idea is to add all of them to your daily diet, so as to totally prevent some illnesses. I know it is not an easy task if you like none of them, but there are many recipes that contain one or more of these spices and you might not know, but probably even your favorite junk food has them; not because of their beneficial properties, of course, but for their flavour. Even in very small quantities you will get health benefits that, for instance, meat gives you not.
The smell... yes... well... I see no reason why to make such a fuss out of it. Yes, if you eat lots of any of them the odour is very much perceivable, and even unpleasant (not so much ginger though). The thing is that small quantities mixed with your food go unperceived – although some people have an outstanding olfaction -, and you will notice that taste is bettered. Try to dismiss the prejudice and give them a try, you will soon enough feel different. Better. More energised.
If you are already an eager friend of them, or not, go ahead and read about them in detail so you may acknowledge their benefits.
