Garlic

Garlic

Closely related to onions, garlic (Allium sativum) is a bulb native to central Asia. Studies have showed that garlic has antiviral, antibacterial and anti-fungal activity. It is said it prevents heart disease and could help fight cancer.

Garlic may highly increase testosterone levels, which, as you know, is very much important if you intend to increase muscle mass.

Though it is known that garlic produces halitosis and garlic smell sweat, both – specially halitosis – could be lessen greatly if taken with milk. Altogether  The way of getting rid of AMS (Allyl methyl sulfide) faster – which is responsible for the stinky sweat - is using a sauna, thus accelerating the process of sweating.

It is said – although no conclusive research has been made so far – that garlic is a very efficient mosquito repellent  so, unless those evil bloodsuckers are actually garlic-resistant little vampires that propagate with water – like gremlins -, mankind stands a chance.

So, unless you are allergic to garlic (some people are), add some of it - even if it is powder garlic - to your foods. It is much beneficial and in small quantities no one will notice it.
